Chef Lisset Murillo
The Chef Lisset Murillo was born and raised in the province of Colón from a family with deep culinary roots,from an early age, she was surrounded by family cooks with the best traditional cuisine.
Her passion for cooking blossomed in her adult life, when she decided to start her own business, inspired by her family heritage and her love for the local cuisine, Lisset launched herself into the culinary world with determination and creativity.

The panamanian afro cuisine, especially rooted in Colón, reflects a fascinating mix of influences. It is made up of the african gastronomic heritage, which the native and spanish cuisine which resisted the colonization and became its own gastronomy with a striking identity and freshness, a typical dish that highlights this rich tradition is "fufu", a soup made with coconut, smoked fish, bacalao and vegetables.
This delicious preparation is a symbol of Afropanamanian culture, known as "congo", and is especially appreciated on the the holy friday holiday.
The Oceanía Restaurant

The Oceania Restaurant was born from a modest budget, food sales at home prepared with love,excellence and freshness of Panama.
Over the time, this small enterprise transformed into the restaurant, which today is a reference in afro panamanian gastronomy, celebrating a decade of operation with the doors opens every day to offer you an unforgettable culinary experience with the option too of a catering services for special events.
